It was sold and delivered new at a area dealer in Atlanta, Ga. The current specs are: 1969 351w original block, heads and intake 4bbl carb, 600 edelbrock. Hei ignition, lunati bracketmaster cam crank balanced new bearings and chrome moly rings has original bore, long tube headers with glass pack mufflers, and a high torque starter. The transmission was replaced with a 4 speed trans-3 speed overdrive. I still have the 3 speed transmission available. Original rear end. Has vintage American Racing wheels with Yokohama tires p235/60/14. I have an enormous amount of time and money put in this car so I will try to list everything I have done or replaced as new: Tires, brakes (has original 4 wheel drum system), brake hoses, exhaust, gas tank, fuel lines, radiator, hoses, upper and lower ball joints, front springs, rear leaf springs, gaskets and seals, rocker boxes, full floor pan, battery tray and apron, right front frame rail patch, hood, lower cowl panel, dash pan, door skins, both rear quarter panels inner and outer, rear trunk lid, rear deck panel, rear valence, front windshield, headliner, carpet, weatherstripping, door panels, hurst shifter, modern style diaphram clutch, floor insulation, all body parts and shell coated with epoxy primer, has single stage urethane paint job inside and out to seal and protect the metal, will need a nice professional paint job to finish it off right. All of the hard, labor intensive work has been done. Just needs to be finished off in paint and interior details to be a great show car or use it now as even a daily driver or cruisin car. Car runs and drives great. Restored and built to be all around good driving-looking car to represent the muscle car era, not to be a weekend drag strip racer. Did a major tune-up ,plugs, point& cond. Dist.cap & rotor , plug wires & coil. brakes were inspected & serviced as needed. It does need tires ,due to dry rot. Top has been replaced ,its frame was cleaned & painted , new glass rear window was installed. Inside stills looks good , factory leather is showing some wear but still good , carpet & door panels are still in good shape . dash is free of cracks . Its has a very good body for a convertible . A little rust in RR quarter , by bumper , small dent , looks like old repair ?? see pictures . I replace the deck lid because I found rust in the lower corner of the orginial. And right fender skirt ,due to a broker bracket . Paint is good on front and drivers side ,but looks flat. Rear and rightside paint is cracking/ flaking ,see pictures. I wish I had the time & ability to finish .This is a fun car to drive & because its a caddy convertible ,everybody has to stop and ask about it.
